Mammoth

We've been spending quite a bit of time in Mammoth these days...we've only had time for some sledding so far but we are looking forward to doing some skiing!

The girls can't wait and we are hoping that next time we get up there, the girls will have their first lessons.

But, sledding seemed to be just enough for them so far.  This is really their first time playing in the snow, and they couldn't have loved it more.

Those smiles are perfect and say it all...

Christmas

I failed this Christmas morning to get any pictures of the girls opening up their gifts...but I did get a bit of the aftermath.  Santa brought the girls a new bunk bed complete with new bedding.  They slept downstairs to try to catch Santa coming down the chimney but failed.  They woke to a brand new bedroom, but that stinkin' man in red didn't seem to bring any new lamps, curtains, or rugs...or any new artwork.  I'm assuming he wants me to finish the room?

We made quite a mess in the bonus room that morning.

And downstairs, where we opened up stockings...

But, it was worth it to see the smiles.

Before we headed off to my Mom's, I took just a few pictures of my decor that I never got around to during the month of December.

And Christmas Day...

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was full of all our usual traditions...church first, Mexican for dinner, pjs from Santa, singing, etc.

Here we are after Santa knocked heavily on the door to drop off pjs for everyone...

Our guests of honor...

This about sums up how the reading of The Three Trees went...

These posts are short on words, as I'm posting Christmas in March.  Oops :)

Bunco Babe Photo Shoots

Before Christmas, I agreed to take some family pictures for a few of my bunco friends and their families for Christmas cards.  We headed to Dos Lagos...and these are a few of the results!
